Dutch princess Alexia complains about far too strict rule

Today’s youth are often glued to the screen of their smartphones. Consequently, even at the Dutch royal family, there are clear agreements on screen time for teenage daughters. Although not everyone seems happy with those rules.

Especially during holiday periods, ‘weeks without smartphones’ were introduced at the Dutch royal family. “No smartphones or tablets,” stressed King Willem-Alexander.

But Queen Máxima admitted that princesses Amalia, Alexia and Ariane sometimes came to complain about their parents’ “far too strict rules”.
